Manguage Anxiety

This is largely a malaise of the the professional classes.

It is the inability to communicate in a common language with people dealing with practical matters - car mechanics, builders, plumbers etc. - and the associated fear of feeling stupid or inadequate.

This is not a reciprocal phenomenon.
